Screen printing squeegee catcher

Screenprinting can be really hard on your body. I've been kicking this idea around for a way to not have to set my squeegee off to the side in between each print. One day, after a particularly brutal print run, I exclaimed, "That's it! I'm making the stupid thing." Below is a short video that shows how it works.

I stepped into my tiny workshop and threw this little number together from some scrap pieces I had lying around. I lined a dowel with felt and tape so that it would be a little squishy and hold the squeegee in place. Every once in a while, I drop a screen too hard and it goes flying into the ink. That's when I know it's time to add more felt and tape. Ha!
