This is the time of year that I work on the art I’m going to use for the rest of the year. I’m feeling a bit blocked, or rather, I have a lot of ideas but am running into roadblocks with execution. I’ll keep trying. I’m really into the idea of creating stencils from paper but haven’t been able to get the lines small enough for my liking. I want thin, fine lines but I haven’t been able to cut the paper that thin… yet. Anyway, there’s more work to be done but here are some sketches of ideas.
Buildings, right? I’d like to create detailed versions of some unique San Francisco architectural details.
Patterns, right? I could make random patterns.
