Sure, there’s a new span of the Bay Bridge that I could be celebrating but personally, my heart belongs to the old span. Part of that is because of the Bay Bridge Lights, which, if you haven’t seen yet, you definitely should. Anyway, on the 4th of July I was out impossibly early on a bike ride and took a few photos of the Bay Bridge that I later used to model for my dish towel. Here’s the image I used as a model. It’s the first time one of the research images I took for a project has any appeal as a photo. That’s largely due to the early morning sun, rather than my skills as a photographer. At any rate, it’s not terrible.
